I hope this finds you well!<br /><br />Today I need to ask you a favor.<br /><br />I made this little table top, but I am stuck, and I need your advice.<br /><br />Big A and I have three tables - two are end tables, and one is a coffee table. They're all glass topped and I dislike them. A lot. Because they're see through, I also walk into them. A lot.<br /><br />All they do is collect dog nose smears, finger prints, and show every single crumb and minuscule particle of dust.<br /><br />I can't afford to replace them, but for the past couple of years, I have been keeping my eyes open for something fun, in thrift stores and at garage sales. Nuttin' honey.<br /><br />Meanwhile, I've been stewing over what to do with them for the time being. Finally, I had an idea. I would mod podge one of them with burlap! How To Make a Spring Wreath

In fact, I considered it. Then I realized that action might land me in a rubber cell ~ so I thought I'd forgo the snowbank, and move forward like a sane person, as if Spring has Sprung. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I talked myself down off the proverbial snowbank... <i>"The clocks are moving ahead, it's MARCH, Easter is right around the corner... Things aren't too bad!"</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So as cooler heads prevailed, in my first effort to Spring Forward with the clocks, I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and a cup of coffee, and made this easy wreath using:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><ul><li>Grapevine wreath</li><li>Strand of silk flowers </li><li>Burlap Flowers (hand made) </li><li>Burlap</li><li>Hot Glue</li><li>Pizza Box Lid</li><li>Twine</li><li>Acrylic Craft Paint</li></ul>First, I attached the flowers to one side of the wreath, using a little hot glue. My favorite color is yellow, so that's the only reason I chose these flowers. E. double toothpicks </i>out of here), I used the cardboard from the lid of a pizza box. Oh yuh, <i>classy as usual!</i><br /><br />I painted the "K" black with craft paint and outlined it with a little twine. Of course, to save yourself this time, you could just buy a letter from a craft store for 99 cents!<br /><br />Once I attached the K ~ voila! So, I used the same moose head silhouette and traced it onto a piece of burlap. I have a lot of pallet wood and could make a frame. I could somehow glue it onto a lampshade. Maybe make a wood sign for outside. I could sew or fabric glue it onto a pillow... </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The indecision finally drove me to make a decision. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I found an old painting from the thrift store for $1.50, it was on canvas but had a rip and was generally in poor condition. I bought it for the frame, but I realized I'm able to use the canvas for the frame. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I decided to cover the canvas, in order to used the frame. So I ripped an old white pillowcase open to fit around the frame of the canvas.
